Aviary Border Collies

Welcome to our Aviary Border Collie website!

We are Joy and Becca Costello, (mother and daughter) and we live on our farm in beautiful rural Oxfordshire, with our dogs and various other pets. Our dogs all live in our houses with us, and are our much loved pets for their entire lives.

We have always had Border Collies, Joy since a small child, born and raised on a sheep/arable farm in East Sussex, and Becca obviously all her life.

We have always been interested and involved with training them - sheep/cattle work, obedience, trials, tracking, but our main interest, over the last 20 odd years, has been agility, we have been lucky enough to have had some amazing dogs that have done really well :-)

Lately we have not had time to compete very much at all, but when we have, the dogs have done very well, I think we have brought home a trophy at least each time out.

We don't keep a large number of dogs, Becca has 3 BCs, I have 5 -  Becca has recently added an Australian Kelpie to her family, and a Powder Puff too - I stick to my beloved Collie dogs!

Many thanks to every Aviary owner for keeping in touch with us - we are thrilled that you share their lives with us still :-)

We occasionally breed a litter of puppies, they are KC registered, and always fully health tested, we breed with competitive agility/sports in mind, so pups are only available to experienced homes.
We are unlikely to sell to homes that are not interested in working/sport and are just looking for a pet dog, nor do we hold a waiting list based on possible coat colours! We have bred some beautiful coat colours, but this is certainly not our main focus. It is fun though, and providing the health, temperament and ability boxes are all ticked, I do enjoy the 'wait and see what we get' of a variety of possible colours!

If you are interested in our future breeding plans, then please get in touch, email me on joy.costello@hotmail.co.uk , or Becca on beccacostello@hotmail.co.uk
